Introducing our post-natal women’s health physiotherapy service
Here at Marple Physio we’re all about celebrating the wonderful feats your body is capable of. And if you’ve recently been through pregnancy and childbirth, we hope you’re proud of just how amazing your body is, too.
Sometimes a post-partum body needs a little nurturing and that’s where our experts can lend a helping hand. If you’re experiencing issues such as abdominal weakness or separation, incontinence, discomfort after a tear or episiotomy, or any ongoing aches and pains, physiotherapy can make the difference. Even if you became a mum some months – or years – ago, these issues don’t have to become part of life. You deserve to feel your best.
Meet our specialists:
- Tamla Fox is a women’s health specialist physiotherapist. She is an expert in training the pelvic-floor muscles, treating incontinence and encouraging your abdominals to “knit” back together. She also teaches perineal scar massage for patients who have had a tear or episiotomy during childbirth.
- Nicky Jackson is a star member of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and a specialist in post-natal Pilates. Pilates helps you to regain your core strength after pregnancy and childbirth and is a wonderful way to help resolve back and neck pain.
At Marple Physio we provide a very high standard of patient care, ensuring you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your treatment with us.
We have private treatment rooms, including an easy-access, ground-floor room and designated car parking. No childcare? We’re very happy for you to bring babies and children along to your appointment, if needed.
Tamla and Nicky would be happy to discuss your needs over the phone, to see if an appointment could help you. Please feel free to call the clinic or send us an email!
