A leading provider of sports massage therapy in Stockport.
Our specialist sports massage therapy offers effective, deep tissue massage treatments for a range of people who suffer discomfort from neck or back pain, headaches, muscle imbalance or overuse, and joint stiffness.
A medical referral is not required and we can quickly and easily schedule an initial consultation for you.
Whether caused by an underlying condition, occupational or postural mechanisms, sports injury, or tension and stress, massage can act as a preventative therapy as well as a healing treatment for existing symptoms.
It can be effective on its own, or as part of a broader physiotherapy treatment plan, as well as providing pain relief, relaxation, and an improved feeling of wellbeing in many people.
Deep tissue massage treatments
A a range of techniques of manual manipulation of the skin, muscle and soft tissue, ligaments, and tendons are used. Highly effective, it works to ‘untangle’ and stretch out any fibres surrounding the muscles and, in turn, stimulate the blood flow and remove any resultant pressure.
As a deeper form of massage, recipients often find it a more effective and longer lasting solution for discomfort and pain.
Specialist sports massage therapy
Our specialists regularly work with professional athletes and sportspeople of all levels who are looking to enhance their physical and sporting performance.
With speedier muscle recovery after training or competition; regular sports massage can also reduce injury risk.
Whether you are a professional athlete, or just want an active pain free lifestyle, we are able to help identify the underlying causes of stiffness or discomfort and advise you about how best to manage your condition to prevent further pain and injury.
